The Friends of Montessori Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raise funds to support the mission and vision of Montessori of the Rio Grande Charter School to be a model public Montessori School.

Friends of Montessori are very excited APS finally bought the school property and vacant land. Now we can move forward and start fundraising to rebuild the school and see the renderings come to life which would give generations of kids to come a great learning eco-friendly environment. Please join us in our efforts to make it happen.  We should receive about $3 million from the bond election The foundation will still have to raise money to help with maintenance issues and wants to support valuable programs.

The Foundation needs more committed members who want to work on supporting the schools immediate needs and on working towards our goal of creating new facilities that will be a great environment for generations of students to come. The Friends of Montessori Foundation, the fundraising organization for the Montessori on the Rio Grande Charter School (MRGC), is amidst a monumental journey to create a Lifelong Learning Community, by making Montessori education accessible to all. After APS has approved the purchase of the current property and adjencent land we can move forward in our vision to construct new, cutting-edge, energy efficient facilities.
