Montessori Teacher Training in Albuquerque, New Mexico 

In partnership with The Canadian Montessori Institute, we are pleased to offer certification courses in Montessori Education- 2.5 - 6 years of age!

We are currently accepting applications for the current year's program. Please read further for details!

Course Dates:   June 21st to June 26th, 2010 (48 hours) 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

                     *Please note that Monday, June 21st will be a 9:00 a.m. start time*

                           July 26th to July 31st, 2010 (48 hours) 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

                           August 2nd to Aug.7th, 2010 (48 hours) 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

                           September 17th to 19th, 2010 (22 hours-3 days)

                           October 15th to 17th, 2010 (22 hours-3 days)

                           Novemeber 19th to 21st, 2010 (22 hours-3 days)

Examination Schedule:

Home Written Final Evaluation: From Tuesday, December 14th to Thursday, December 16th, 2010

Practical Final Evaluation: Saturday, January 22, 2011

Tuition Fees:

The tuition fee is $5,100.00 USD in 4 instalments of $1,275.00 payable to the Friends of Montessori Foundation.

Teacher candidates are required to prepare for the first day of tuition either a series of 4 post-dated cheques (May 31st, July 26th, September 17th, and November 19th) or a Credit Card authorization + 4% Bank fees ($1,326.00)

Teacher candidates receive 7 complimentary Montessori Albums (3,000 pages).

A fee of $300.00 for the final exams is required on January 22, 2011.  Official receipts are issued in January 2011.  Books can be otained from the Institute at the cost of $85.00

Montessori of the Rio Grande Charter School Albuquerque will offer a Montessori Teacher Education Diploma Course (Early Childhood). The Training is organized in cooperation with the Canadian Montessori Teacher Education Institute (www.montessori-institute.ca). The Diploma Course consists of a minimum of 210 hours of theoretical and very practical hands-on subjects as well as 400 hours of Internship which includes 200 hours of supervised teaching practice.
