Friends of the Montessori Foundation (FOMF)

The Friends of the Montessori Foundation (FOMF) is a volunteer-led organization of parents and community members dedicated to supporting Montessori of the Rio Grande Charter School. Much like a PTA, the Foundation raises funds that provide valuable resources for every student, including music and art programs, annual classroom funding for teachers, and transportation for educational field trips.

The Foundation meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the school, and everyone is welcome to attend. Meeting dates and Foundation news are available at FOMFnews.com. For more information, contact Tara Sieber, Executive Assistant, at mrgcfoundation@gmail.com.

Whether you’d like to help at a special event, support ongoing programs, or serve on the Foundation board, your time and talents make a meaningful difference for students and teachers.

Donate

The Friends of the Montessori Foundation helps sustain the high-quality Montessori education offered at MRGC by funding programs and resources that directly benefit students.

The Foundation’s Annual Fund goal is $100,000, helping support essential school needs, including music and art programs. Families are encouraged to contribute $250–$500 per student in a way that is meaningful and possible for them. When every family contributes $500 per student to the Annual Enrichment Fund, the annual fundraising goal is met.
