Governance Council Meetings
The Governance Council meets monthly on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, usually in the School’s Office. If a school event requires rescheduling, the updated meeting date will be posted on the website and at the school entrance. All meetings are open to the public, featuring a dedicated guest agenda item to encourage community participation.
Meeting Format
Hybrid Format: Attend in person at the school or join via Zoom at https://us06web.zoom.us/my/msdeborah.
Public Comment: Time is allocated at the beginning of each meeting for public comment.

How to Participate in Public Comment
To join a meeting as a guest, email Ms. Deborah Henwood at msdeborah@mrgcharter.org no later than one hour before the meeting starts.
Guidelines for Public Comment:
Direct Comments to the Governance Council
Comments should be addressed to the council rather than individuals.Speaking Time and Etiquette
You will have two minutes to speak.
Wait for the appropriate time on the agenda and for recognition by the Council President.
Identify Yourself
Clearly state your name before speaking.Document Distribution (if applicable)
If you wish to share documents, provide ten copies when you sign up to speak.
Expected Behavior:
Keep comments relevant and respectful.
Avoid discussing personnel or individual responsibilities.
Non-Compliance:
If expectations are not met, the Council President may:
Remind you of proper decorum.
End your speaking time early.
Request that you leave the meeting or recess the meeting if necessary.
