Student Dress Code
At MRGC, our dress code promotes freedom of expression, good judgment, respect for others, and safety. Students can express their individuality as long as it does not disrupt the educational experience. Here are the dress guidelines:
Clothing and Accessories: Must be clean, reasonably modest, and should not be dangerous, distracting, or disruptive.
Prohibited Attire: Clothing or accessories that advertise, display, or promote drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sexual activity, violence, disrespect, or bigotry are not allowed.
Shoes: For safety, open-toed shoes are not permitted. We recommend closed-toe shoes, such as tennis shoes.
Straps and Cuts: No spaghetti straps. Straps must be 2" or wider. Cut-out shirts or open backs are not permitted.
Length of Skirts, Dresses, and Shorts: Must be at least closed-fist length when arms are at the sides.
These guidelines are designed to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment for all students.
